Surrounded

Surrounded by musical phrases and ideas – contrapuntal in time and in space. The music consists of many layers of closely woven lines and objects. The material is anonymous but composed in such a way as to convey a certain perspective to the soundscape as well as a strong overall sense of directional energy throughout the piece. The texture is very polyphonic – at some points the lines can be clearly distinguished while at other they merge into single gestures or mere sound objects.
